👉     Questionnaire Method

Another typical employment analysis strategy is to have employees, their bosses, and managers
fill out questionnaires. This strategy, however, is subject to personal prejudice. When crafting
questions for different levels of employees, extreme caution should be exercised.

Management should properly explain to the workers that the data collected will be utilized for
their own gain in order to obtain accurate job-related information. It's critical to reassure them
that their information will not be used against them in any way. It will be a complete waste of
time, money, and human resources if it is not done effectively (managementstudyguide.com,
2022) .

It can be open-ended, multiple choices, checklists or a mix of all of them.

Questionnaires used for job analysis collect information about all aspects that influence how a
job is done, including internal and external factors. These are the most common areas that
questionnaires focus on:

 Knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications
                Duties performed daily
                Duties performed less frequently
 Equipment and materials used for duties
 Time spent on different job duties
                Physical and emotional input
                Level of job satisfaction
                Salary and compensation
                Work conditions

Questionnaires alone are insufficient for collecting data that is both trustworthy and helpful.
They've just scratched the surface of the subject of job analysis. It has various drawbacks, such
as participants providing erroneous information, question misunderstanding, and high non-
response rates.

Questionnaires increase the sample size, but they are less genuine and hence less effective.
Because job analysis requires accurate data, it's ideal to integrate questionnaires with other job
analysis methods.

  1. The questionnaire system provides clients who perform each job with questionnaires, which include questions that help identify job knowledge, skills, attitudes, tasks, responsibilities, etc. Currently, computer technology is being used to analyze this data. This can also be a good analysis

  2. The questionnaire method is sometimes the most commonly used job analysis method. Employers are provided with a well-designed questionnaire to obtain essential employment information. The questionnaire will be given to the supervisors after completion. Three methods of job analysis are based on observations. They are- direct observations; Methodology analysis, including time and motion studies and micro-motion analysis; And the critical case system.
